The PEM is expected to engineering packages and projects in the Transmission and Distribution Industry in the Netherlands, following safety/quality/financial and operational aspects: technical & contractual scopes, engineering & engineering planning. She/he is also responsible for Engineering co-ordination safety, quality, risks & opportunities management to ensure the highest customer satisfaction & to secure projects Margin.

Main PEM tasks include:

Execute project Engineering keeping high standards in Safety, efficiency, on time delivery and financial goalsContribute to units/projects operational performance by providing detail and basic design engineering, eng. co-ordination, management and efficient project execution and pro-active co-ordination with all stake-holdersBusiness scope = Grid Solutions projects with clear focus on GIS & AIS & P&C of HV equipment ans systems

Major Responsibilities:

Project engineering scope on HV-projects (from tender to warranty end)Be the prime customer contact for engineering of the contract/projectPreparation and Co-ordination/lead of engineering projects/packages in collaboration with engineering departments (CoE, etc.), project manager, contract management, finance, procurement & other support functionsBe accountable for On Time Delivery of engineering activitiesFollow project engineering best practicesMonthly update on actions plan progress & forecastsInput and feedback for project reviewsContribute to EHS plan, Operation department development & Unit continuous improvementLead EHS/Safety actions and performance: be fully compliant with GE rules and processes, ensure project engineering teams (own and subcontracted) are properly trained and holders of required qualifications when required.    Follow GE compliance Policies (‘The Spirit and The Letter’) and promote open reporting    Support Commercial team by return of experience, optimizing project costs & deliveries

Qualifications / Requirements

Electrical Engineering degree or simularExcellent track-record in engineering and eng. lead in HV/MV/LV-projectsDeep to expert engineering knowledge in HV/MV/LV/P&C-equipment/systemsSignificant experience in project-, site commissioning in Distribution and HV-Transmission IndustryAutonomy & RigorFully fluent in dutch in word / writing (level C2 or better)Fully fluent English in word / writing (level C1 or better)good business acumen, Eng/commissioning metrics, teamworkHigh energy, positive individual loving operational challengesProactivity and reactivity
