Responsibility:

Supervises the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within guidelines. Supervises the work of employees executing technical engineering and administrative project objectives. Communicates relevant project status details within and beyond the project team. Sets goals and plans tasks and objectives for staff to meet project targets and milestones. Identifies project problems and modifies project plans to assist in resolution.

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines. Liaises between project management and planning, project teams, and line management. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Reviews project and budget status, manages schedules and prepares reports. Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Represents RTX as the primary customer contact for projects. Directs the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Meets program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field of study4+ years of management experience with strong business acumen4+ years project management, project engineering, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality).Decision making ability and leadership skills.Strong communication skills (written and oral)Experience supporting Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processes.Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCADAdvance MS Office SkillsProven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices.
