Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Estimator II in Juno Beach, FL. Summary: Day to day responsibilities for this role include leading the preparation of estimate and the development of pricing models. The candidate will have the ability to grow their skillset, and potentially branch out to all technologies we work on including wind energy, solar energy, energy storage, oil and gas pipelines, transmission lines, substations, water treatment, and simple & combined cycle fossil power generation. Overview: This position develops, quantifies, costs, and provides a complete capital expenditure (CapEx) model for evaluating projects. CapEx models include all engineering, material, direct, and indirect costs. Employees in this role provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, market pricing, and staffing considerations during the estimating process. Responsibilities: * Prepares capital cost estimates * Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate * Coordinate and interface on a regular basis with other departments to ensure communication and understanding of proposal/project objectives and the most efficient and productive utilization of resources * Review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate * Remains current with technology and industry evolution in order to assure that project capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions * Establish, build and implement metric's for cost estimate
