We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a SE-3 TGS Project Event Coordinator for the Cyber TMAS II contract, supporting the Air Force. LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL JOB STATUS: Active TRAVEL: 10% REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 3 years of technical experience is required. Additional experience may be substituted for education. Active Top Secret clearance/ability to obtain SCI - US Citizenship is required. Skilled at integration, setup/configuration and testing of operating systems (Windows Server (2016, 2013, 2008 R2, 2003, 2000, NT), Windows Desktop (10, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, NT, 98, 95, 3.1), Linux (Red Hat 5, 6, 7), Fedora Core, Debian, Ubuntu, Slackware, and Solaris) Ability to lead, manage and operate independently to overcome difficult technical obstacles, and accomplish the mission with minimal guidance or direction. Experience in project/IPT management to include contracting, COR, and financial management. Ability to effectively communicate with leadership (program directors/managers) and upper-level personnel. Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: Project Management Professional course work or certification. Air Force operations, test or project management experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a non-supervisory Lead Event Director (NCR ED) for the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Eglin and provide support to the Site Director on all test and training event planning, scheduling and event operations activities at the Site. Responsible for providing event planning guidance to Site Event Directors and ensuring alignment to NCRC Enterprise Event Planning and Execution processes. Build and lead cross-organization / service teams to provide engineering services associated with requirements development / decomposition for the design, testing, training and mission rehearsal of cyber security events for joint acquisition programs of record and operational cyber mission forces. Engage with Government Program Managers, Service OTAs, Service Cyber Mission Force personnel and NCRC Contractor Event Designers to specify customer cyber security event objectives and identify related NCRC capabilities that will be applied to conduct successful cybersecurity events at the NCRC. Support the execution of Cybersecurity (CS) events that span system engineering related testing, engineering mitigations and operational mission training perspectives. The events may be executed within the NCRC or in a distributed fashion integrating multiple sites and remotely distributed assets. For CS events, the NCR ED works with the Program Managers to provide desired test design, execution, and analysis to the (system) program under test to shape CS test events and / or works with the customer to understand mission training objectives and ensure the NCR environment will be designed and configured to support. Serve as a senior technical SME for system design, operation, external system interface, integration of cyber security into USAF tactical, C4ISR and support information systems. Support the development of systems engineering documentation (architectures, systems engineering plans, design plans).
