By delegation and directions from the President the Project Execution Manager execute job duties and tasks listed below with the overall objective of consistently providing top-quality project management and maintain high standard of excellence in all project management functions.
Job Duties:
Strategic planning of the Project Management Plan (PMP) and implementation of the same in coordination with the President and the assigned Project Team.
Overall responsibility and supervision for project deliveries in terms of:
• Consistency in execution between all projects to allow for smooth transitions of individual and project team between projects.
• Consistency between all projects with the company’s: goals, objectives, organization of project teams, internal standards, filing systems, reporting, etc.
• Consistency between all projects in compliance with budget, schedule, technical conformance, quality and fulfillment of all contractual obligations to the clients.
• Consistency between all projects in adaptation and execution of special project execution requirements from clients – requirements that are in addition to Virta’s standard project execution requirements.
• Ensure swift and effective communications with clients.
• Ensure all project activities are conducted in a manner that highly prioritizes safety, environment, community, quality, and Virta’s ethic mandates, policies and procedures.
• Ensure periodic or as required updates and maintenance of each project’s Project Management Plan and its Sub Management Plans.
• Ensure the project communication system is, and remains, swift and effective and per the Project Communication Plan.
• Ensure swift and effective gathering and coordination of all inputs from different project management teams required by engineering such as construction, commissioning, fabrication, logistic and procurement. Assist with the same from the Client.
• Ensure swift and effective gathering and coordination of all information from Value Engineering decisions and communicate the same to all relative parties.
• Ensure swift and effective implementation of all Project Management Sub-Plans such as: Procurement Management Plan, Fabrication Management Plan, Logistic Management Plan, Construction Management Plan and Commissioning Management Plan.
