You Will Make an Impact By:
Overall responsible to manage health, safety, environmental and security for MSD Thailand Chang project to make sure ZERO accident and legal compliance.Ensure all Thailand HSE&S regulations/laws related with the chemical plant & TC construction are implemented, permits/licenses are available and updated and fully in compliance.Implement MSD’s HSE&S SOPs/standards requirements for the project construction such as work at height, hot work permit, confine space entrance, safe excavation and power usage, Lockout and tagout, and the contractors’ safety trainings. Report Near Miss and lead the accident root cause analysis with corrective and prevention actions implementation.Manage & evaluate the contractor’s (including the subcontractors) HSE&S performance and stop all unsafe conditions/acts (including the equipment/tools etc.) and request for corrective action plus possible warning or penalty to serious violations. Responsible as a Security officer of MSD Thailand Chang project to make sure all purchased materials and equipment and the company properties stored/kept securely. And effectively control the access to the project site together with the security guards.Manage the construction site emergency response issues, and train employees for all related HSE SOPs/requirement & conduct drills to respond emergency as required.Budget planning and make sure all MSD people work on the chang project receive all required PPE and using the permit to work.Provide leadership and management in Chang project housekeeping and 5S to prevent and control STF accident.Participate the project MOC/JSA/HAZOP etc. discussions and develop the proper safety proposal(s) to keep construction and the operation safe with all layers of technical safety protection measures implemented. Actively organize the PSSR (pre-start safety review) inspection and acceptance from the safety & the environmental prospectives as well as implement all corrective actions.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Skills You Bring:
Bachelor or more, chemical/environmental engineering, chemical technology, or chemistry majored is desirable.Over 6 years experiences in safety, environmental management, and project construction and mechanical/electrical/instrumentation installation.Certificated the safety officer in the supervising level at least (the advanced Technical level would be preferred ) after successfully taken the mandatory training (12 hours) and passed the tests.Knowledge of health and safety, and environmental management and related the government regulations/codes/standards.Knowledge of management system, ISO9001,ISO14001 and ISO45001Fluent English skills both speaking & writing.#LI-DNI
