The Junior Project Engineer, forming part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, will provide support to the Engineering team working on various projects impacting the plant with new business, continuous improvement of existing processes, validating product changes within manufacturing and implementing new processes within the existing business.
You will collaborate with different functions of our Manufacturing setup and ensure that timely communications occur with all impacted stakeholders. The candidate is responsible of developing, overseeing, and providing guidance on the Project Management discipline, standards, tools, and reports. The candidate will provide engineering support to select manufacturing areas, including optimizing system performance, writing engineering and validation documents. Due to the nature of this position, a very high degree of experience, initiative, teamwork, and communication are required as well as a very structured approach to achieving set goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the team in the Validation of New Processes to the Plant, Processimprovements, MIPs, SNCs, and NPDs.Responsible for assuring compliances to all regulatory requirements – FDA, OSHA,OFCCP, EPA, etc.Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies andprocedures, including any process specific requirements.· Lead assigned projects; create execution and implementation plans, follow-up on timelines and make sure deadlines are respected.Continuously interacts with all the required functions and individuals ensuringeffective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholdersEnsures identification and communication of projects risks to superiorsOther areas of focus include: DPM, Conversion loss, SPC, CIPM, PFMEA,Digitization and Data Integrity.Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activitiesQualifications & Education:Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting and be resourceful to a large manufacturing department.Engineering Degree or Equivalent in a related field.No experience is required, however any experience within manufacturing is considered an asset.Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory or Clinical Practices and Product Development Process requirements.Demonstrated competences in all aspects of project management.Excellent communication skills and a team player
