About the Team

The Project Launch team is the backbone of new product introductions. They plan the launch process, coordinating timelines for ME, SCM, and quality control. This team ensures that all departments are aligned, from engineers finalizing vehicle designs to production workers ramping up assembly.

 

What you can look forward to as Project Launch Manager:

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver Steering Products launches on time and budget. Ensure that these teams achieve all customer and company requirements for (new or changed products) programs including quality, cost, delivery, product performance and customer satisfaction—a “flawless launch”.  Ensure the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process is established, documented, implemented and followed according to QS-9000/TS16949 procedure. Manager programs in accordance with ZF new product introduction management system requirements (GDPEP). Serve as the expert in customer launch systems including timing, documentation and interaction.

 

Your Profile as Project Launch Manager:

Mature and responsible leader with the ability to both work in teams as well as to lead, drive and motivate teams. Evaluate and manage risk; Assess priorities and critical path to enable successful product launches with available resource. Strong project management skills. Experience with supporting PFMEA and control plans.
