Your role and responsibilities

Are you looking for a challenge in which you take technical responsibility for system projects within the growing market of System Drives? This is your chance to help shape our business as a Project Lead Engineer in the area of Medium Voltage Drives. In this role, you will be a key player for the successful execution of client projects in such applications as metals, renewable energies, test stands and oil and gas, which generally involve the complete powertrains. Your range of duties will encompass the designing, engineering and tracking of all involved system components like transformers, converters, motor and auxiliaries. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridYou will be mainly accountable for: •\tExecuting large MV drivetrain projects from order intake to delivery, including engineering, coordination, and compliance verification across various industrial applications.•\tEngineering hardware and software for medium-voltage drives and systems, preparing technical documentation (ECAD), and performing system analyses such as network studies and HIL simulations.•\tManaging and coordinating customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure full compliance with technical specifications, leading FATs, string tests, and selectively supporting commissioning with field service teams (max. 5% travel).•\tSupporting sales, product management, and project managers in customer meetings, providing technical expertise, and contributing to internal improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications for the role

You have at least 2-3 years of experience in MV drives applications, demonstrating your expertise in power electronics and drivetrain technologies.You hold a successfully completed degree (BSc or MSc) in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Automation Engineering, Drives Technology, or a related field.You are passionate about power electronics and enjoy working in a technical environment where you can take responsibility and coordinate complex tasks.You are at ease communicating in both German and English, with strong social competence and excellent coordination skills in cross-functional teams.You hold current work permit valid in Switzerland.
