Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.The work model for the role is: #onsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation - Energy Industries business and will be located in Jakarta, Indonesia.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.•\tCoaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.•\tLeading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.•\tApplying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor in Control Instrumentation/Automation/Electronics Engineering\tMore than 10 years of hands-on engineering and commissioning experience in Distributed Control System (DCS) associated to Power & Water projects industries, including Geothermal Power Plant, Hydro Power plant, Combined Cycle Power plant, Water treatment plant, Wastewater treatment plant, District cooling plant, etc.\tThorough understanding of power & water plant process with specialization in applications and solutions for integrated process control.\tMinimum of 5 years’ experience with Project Lead Engineer, in both Greenfield and Brown-field projects\tKnowledge of various third-party interfaces and integration methods and Fieldbus such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, IEC60870-5-101/104, IEC61850, etc., knowledge on 800XA/Symphony Harmony platform preferred.\tBasic knowledge on Virtualization, Networking & Cyber security preferred and proficient with MS Word, Excel; MS access, Power Point, MS Visio, MS projects and ACAD.\tProven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
