Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure that the activities related to engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries (E-House Business) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tOverall Key SLD & Protection SLD.•\tSystem studies like Load flow, Short circuit, transient study etc.•\tDesign calculations including transformer sizing, battery sizing, earthing calculation, Cable sizing, cable tray sizing, lighting calculation.•\tData sheet & specification for Equipment like transformer, MV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, UPS system, bus duct, cable tray earthing.•\tEquipment layout, cable routing/ cable tray layout, cable schedule preparation, earthing design, bus duct layout, lighting layout, switchgear fixing arrangement drawing.•\tEquipment drawing for transformer, MV switchgear, LV Switchgear, Bus duct, DC/UPS system, NGR, Is Limitor.•\tCoordinating with different discipline and ensure on-time delivery of all Engineering deliverables as per the project deliverable list.•\tCoordinating with customer & supplier across different locations.

Qualifications for the role

You possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.You have over 10 years of experience in Engineering & On-site coordination for Off Shore FPSO E-House projects.Familiar with ABS/ DNV requirementKnowledge in design tools like ETAP, cable sizing tool etc.Knowledge of relevant international standards like IEC is an added advantage.
