Reporting to the Head of Medical, Beigene Japan
The Project Leader plays a central role in leading the process of formulating and executing Japan's development strategy, acting as a hub for cross-functional members from R&D, Regulatory, PV, Medical, and Commercial departments.
The Project Leader is responsible for a wide range of activities from the early stages of new drug development, through clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and post-launch Life Cycle Management.
Beigene Japan are looking for candidates who are eager to demonstrate leadership as a key member in planning and executing development strategies in Japan.
Responsibility:
The Project Leader is responsible for leading a cross-functional project team to develop and execute the project for a development product as well as Life Cycle Management in Japan.
This role responsibilities include accountability for the project's strategic direction and serving as the focal point of contact with the global team.
The Project Leader will ensure that the project aligns with overarching company goals and regulatory requirements, driving the team towards successful project outcomes.
Lead the process of developing an integrated development strategy, including Medical strategy for Japan.
Be accountable for advancing assets on time and fulfilling quality requirements/standards.
Qualification Required:
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline
Master's degree, PhD degree, PMP, MBA holders (preferred)
Qualifications:
Over 10 years of work experience, including in pharmaceutical companies.
Experience in project lead/management in pharmaceutical development.
Extensive leadership and project management experience in a global pharmaceutical development environment spanning multiple disciplines.
Experience in portfolio management of development products.
Experience and knowledge in drug development, including conducting trials, interacting with regulatory authorities, new drug applications, and product launches.
Experience in collaboration and alliances with other companies is welcome.
Computer Skills: Highly skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Other Qualifications: English: Fluency (speaking, reading, writing, listening).
Travel: 20%
