**What You'll Be Doing**
**Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:**
+ Logistics Management: Oversee the coordination of material and equipment deliveries to and from the project site, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations to support construction and engineering activities.
+ Shipment Oversight: Track and monitor shipments, working with vendors and transportation providers to resolve any issues and ensure on-time delivery.
+ Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor material usage, and collaborate with site teams to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
+ Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery receipts, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
+ Site Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and construction teams to understand material needs and priorities, providing logistical support to meet project deadlines.
+ Communication: Act as a liaison between the project site, suppliers, and logistics providers, facilitating effective communication to resolve logistical challenges.
+ Problem Solving: Identify and address logistical issues proactively, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
**Ideal Background**
**Education:** Associate degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
**Experience:** 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
+ Ability to work independently and manage logistics operations in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.
