As a Project Logistics Coordinator, you play a key role in directly supporting customer supply chains by ensuring their freight moves efficiently and effectively. You will engage directly with customers to build and strengthen relationships, coordinate cargo bookings, and perform analyses to help them maximize C.H. Robinson’s technology offerings. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Collaborate with Project/Regional Project Managers on coordination efforts
+ Support rate negotiations, carrier selection, and compliance monitoring
+ Prepare billing templates, project reports, and review customer invoicing
+ Handle insurance claims, credit monitoring, and critical client issues
+ Ensure adherence to company policies, including legal and financial commitments
**Operations Oversight:**
+ Manage project files for various transport modes (truck/rail, sea, air, barge)
+ Handle and review letter of credit files, escalating to senior management as needed
+ Maintain clear client communication and monitor legal or liability issues
+ Contribute to business development by providing insights to management
+ Negotiate and coordinate project cargo, with oversight from senior management
+ Supervise equipment loading/unloading under managerial guidance
+ Perform other assigned duties as required
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required:
+ High school diploma
+ 2 years of freight forwarding operations and project cargo experience
+ Fluency in English and Dutch
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
+ Ability to travel up to 10%
+ Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette
+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
+ Exceptional customer service skills and follow up
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
+ Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics and or International Business
