RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Collaborate with Project/Regional Project Managers on coordination effortsSupport rate negotiations, carrier selection, and compliance monitoringPrepare billing templates, project reports, and review customer invoicingHandle insurance claims, credit monitoring, and critical client issuesEnsure adherence to company policies, including legal and financial commitmentsOperations Oversight:
Manage project files for various transport modes (truck/rail, sea, air, barge)Handle and review letter of credit files, escalating to senior management as neededMaintain clear client communication and monitor legal or liability issuesContribute to business development by providing insights to managementNegotiate and coordinate project cargo, with oversight from senior managementSupervise equipment loading/unloading under managerial guidancePerform other assigned duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High school diploma2 years of international freight forwarding operations, breakbulk and project cargo experiencePreferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityAbility to travel up to 10%Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environmentExcellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquetteAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyExceptional customer service skills and follow upProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsKnowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics and or International BusinessValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentWHAT WE OFFER
