TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities

 

Lead the local transfer execution team and support their development. Lead the execution of the agreed transfer Localization plan. Track transfer implementation action plan from initiation until execution and customer approval according to the defined timeline.   Ensure timely information / escalation in case of bottlenecks and prepare pragmatic action plans / proposals for management approval. Coordinate and Monitor transfers according to transfer implementation procedure QMP_EMEA_025.  Collaborate very closely with all operations teams on the transfer of tools and processes. Regularly reporting to Management on a weekly basis. Follow up the plant Capacity situation as well as the S&OP cycles and react accordingly. Support during Budget and cycle forecast submission. Support the Value Stream mapping process of the plant. What your background should look like:

 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related science Minimum 5 years in Project Management Excellent writing, documentation, and oral communication skills. Basic Knowledge of current automotive products.  Strong ability to successfully lead and develop project/virtual teams. Analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and work with conflicting design demands.  Strong team leadership, as well as project leadership is mandatory.  Ability to work in multi-functional areas and overcome barriers. Ability to work in multi-cultural team Experience with Teamwork talent. English fluent, German is a plus.
