Business Operations is the glue of DE&E Technology, with a persistent focus on connecting all the pieces of the business. All the components that make up the organization – engineering, product, design, operations, support and more – come together and move the business forward with oversight, effective prioritization, and guidance. This team synthesizes information from across the business to ensure leaders are armed with all the necessary data before making strategic and financial decisions. From forecasting, funding, tracking, and reporting on projects, to ways of working, and resource management, Business Operations has transparency and input into all aspects of the team.

What You Will Do

As a Project Management Intern on this team, you will:

Support engineering initiatives and teams as needed

Coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information across the teams involved in the project/s

Be included in the development phases and schedules, review support services, and track and report progress

Follow and communicate project achievements, tasks, and risks

Attend project planning meetings and working sessions

Required Qualifications & Skills

Knowledge of project management processes including Agile, Kanban, Waterfall

Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

Experience building positive relationships in an academic or professional setting

Ability to work well with deadlines and manage multiple workstreams

Problem solver with a desire to find efficient solutions

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency towards project management tools, including: Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, or similar

Education

Junior or Senior year preferred

Currently pursing a bachelor’s with a major in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related major preferred 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

 Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program

Be at least 18 years of age

Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2025 (12 weeks)

Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Santa Monica, CA area

Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work


The pay rate for this role in Santa Monica, CA or Glendale, CA is $30.00 per hour.
