Project Management Intern
**Job Description:** As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will assist in managing technical sales projects, work closely with cross functional teams to identify challenges and needs of the broader organization, and help implement new tools and systems to improve technical project executions. You’ll gain exposure to project management practices, customer engagement, and technical sales processes, preparing you for a career in technical sales or engineering management. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist sales and engineering in developing technical proposals and solutions for our customers. + Understand existing and develop new project timelines to meet customer milestones. + Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand the needs and challenges of the team in executing a project on-time, on-budget, and to customer expectations. + Understand current project management tools being leveraged. + Identify and solve challenges, developing new tools to replace or supplement existing project management paradigm. + Deploy and train cross functional teams on new tools, standards, and best practices for project execution **Qualifications** + Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field), Business with a technical focus, or a related discipline. + Basic understanding of engineering principles and interest in technical sales or project management. + Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). + Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. **Benefits:** + Gain valuable hands-on experience at the intersection of engineering, sales, and project management. + Work alongside experienced professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance. + Exposure to real-world technical sales projects and customer engagements. + Opportunity to develop key skills in project management, customer relations, and technical sales. **Compensation Information:** $23-$25 _ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
