THE WORK

In this role, you will directly support current and future Aegis/Ballistic Missile Defense/Ship Self Defense System Training Development and Modernization contracts. Your responsibilities will include:

Translating customer requirements into actionable organizational plans, including Statements of Work (SOW), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), risk assessments, schedules, and financial tracking tools.
Maintaining a high-level program overview and proactively addressing schedule conflicts, initiatives, and execution plans.
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, program managers, external customers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
Serving as the on-site liaison with the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) headquarters, representing the Lockheed Martin Maritime program office.

Basic Qualifications:
· Proven development project management experience leading small teams
· Adept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs
· Proven ability to identify and build strong relationships with and influence decision makers, and maintain long-term customer intimacy
· Ability to partner with peers across Lockheed Martin Business Units
· Demonstrated business acumen to include experience in EVMS, negotiations, performance metrics, and portfolio management.
· Strong Communication and Presentation Skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
