What you’ll do:

As a Project Management Specialist, you will play a critical assisting the ITS Project Management team in coordinating project activities and perform as an administrator of the project management tool, Smartsheet. Responsibilities may include scheduling key meetings, managing schedules, assisting in the preparation of project documents and reporting, managing user access, license assignment/requests, and necessary inputs and updates for Smartsheet.

 

Responsibilities:

Stay informed on project team activities and facilitate communication.Assist the project management team with assigned tasks.Participate in team meetings, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and summarize discussions.Support development of presentations and reports.Manage departmental and small cross-functional projects.Create project charters and communication plans.Build and manage project schedules and track expenses.Contribute to innovation and improvement ideas.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience: Experience managing small projects or project management education; knowledge of project management concepts; Microsoft Office Suite and Visio knowledge
