The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Project Management Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA to lead design teams in developing innovation solutions for Avionics products across multiple domains. Bring your experience leading multi-skilled engineering teams through space-flight design projects, programmatic processes, and development of solutions to challenging problems.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Support development, coordination, integration, analysis, and integration for plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change driven activities in accordance with industry common project management methodologies and frameworks.Support studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), report design and generation, risk assessment, and planning to determine impacts, constraints, production rates, process improvements, and program initiatives.Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine business cases.Develop and establish lead time requirements.Facilitate and ensure integration of project and program plans, schedules, changes, baseline management processes, and techniques considered to be best practice across the industry.Establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.Support all phases of projects, or subsystems of major projects, from inception through completion.Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of Project Management.The ability to relocate at your own expense if not already within commuting distance of the Boeing worksite in El Segundo, CA and the ability and willingness to perform all work onsite.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in cost management or schedule management (or leading projects for cost or schedule) or in program management.Experience leading teams developing electronics units or products for Aerospace or Aeronautic applications.Experience managing production of electronics units or products for Aerospace or Aeronautic applications.Supplier Management experience for producers of electronics units or products for Aerospace or Aeronautic applications.Drug Free Workplace:
