Project Management Technician Job Locations US-CA-Duarte ID 2025-15694 Overview

Element has an opportunity for detail-oriented and highly organized Project Management Technician. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy in mapping, documenting, inspecting, and organizing customer-provided materials and test specimens. The ideal candidate has a background in quality inspection and takes pride in precision, organization, and managing multiple competing priorities.

 

Salary: $22- $26/hour DOE (dependent on experience)

 

Responsibilities Utilize data sheets or procedural documents to accurately map, document, and mark test specimensDraw precise lines on customer-provided material (test specimens) for machine shop processing Count and track test specimens to ensure accuracy before processingConduct dimensional inspections to verify that machine shop work adheres to specimen drawings.Document inspection results to ensure compliance with customer specificationsMeasure test specimens after machining for quality assurance.Read and interpret handwritten labels on test specimens to properly categorize them.Organize and verify the completion of jobs by tracking 100 to 7,000 test specimens, ensuring nothing is misplaced.Maintain meticulous records and documentation to support quality control and project management efforts. Skills / Qualifications High school degree required, associate degree or some college coursework preferredPrior experience with hands on quality assurance or in a similar quality-focused roleStrong attention to detail with an ability to manage high volumes of specimens accuratelyExcellent organizational skills and ability to work with competing prioritiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationExcellent communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection techniques is a plus.
