Job Description

Disclaimer: a contractor role for long-term partnership.

Purpose 

Everyone at Visa works with one goal in mind – making sure that Visa is the best way to pay and be paid, for everyone everywhere. The business development team drives the country strategy and its objectives by identifying, leading and executing, through analytics, data and market intelligence, on opportunities to drive business growth for Visa and its clients. The purpose of this role is to provide support to business development team, assisting with client requests with the purpose to grow Visa share of business.  

Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Area:

Work closely with BD team to develop and maintain the relationship between Visa and the clients. Provide support in daily tasks Operational support in managing Visa business in Armenia by working with existing reporting tools and systems. Process new client onboarding, new licenses; support opening, upgrades, & downgrades of new bins. Work with licensing teams to ensure completion of paperwork as well as timely submission of documentation working back from launch of the products. Master the Visa Online functionality and provide support to BD team on how to navigate through the platform. Attend to client queries and issues and provide timely and efficient solutions. Navigate throughout Visa to ensure a quick turnaround of client & BD requests. Monitor and analyze competitor strategies and contribute to developing/responding to these so that Visa’s market share within the market is enhanced.  Manage daily tasks such as maintaining and updating clients contact lists, and upload required documents in playbook. Support management of projects pipeline and make respective records/adjustments in the systems. Preparation of presentations/pitches to clients Support internal compliance requirements for the BD team. Ensure support in the management and execution of deals with clients and partners. Leads stand-alone business development projects assigned by the manager.

Required Experience & Skills - Professional/Technical/Business 

Minimum 3 years of continuous experience in payments industry. Implementation or support/improvement of payment products in cooperation with different payment systems. Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or electronic payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes. Business and Commercial rigor and acumen Interpersonally credible, influential in their dealings and sensitive to a multicultural environment. Strong self-management skills including demonstrated drive and energy. Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management, including the ability to work effectively within CEMEA, between regions and with Worldwide Services staff. Proficient English and Russian speaker. Armenian - native
