The Project Manager, Corporate Finance, reporting to the Director of Finance Systems, is a critical member of the Corporate Finance team, playing a pivotal role in driving change, sustaining implemented solutions, and enabling continuous improvement across finance processes. With the team having recently completed a successful ERP implementation, this role focuses on managing system enhancements, refining processes, and achieving key roadmap initiatives. The Project Manager will leverage project management best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value from the Finance platform and drive transformation across Corporate Finance.

This is a Fixed Term, annualized salary contract position with benefits and paid time off.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
A lead role in the sustainment of Corporate Finance systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to realize further process optimization
Working closely with the Financial Systems teammates to manage system enhancement requests and related projects
Project managing larger roadmap activities to ensure timely completion of milestones and initiatives
Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
Managing project scope, plans, timelines, and quality
Tracking project progress and preparing updates to stakeholders and senior management
Reporting on key metrics related to system performance, enhancement progress, and sustainment activities
Coaching, mentoring, and supervising team members and contractors in the Finance platform sustainment ecosystem
Serve as a trusted Project Manager to stakeholders, external service providers and contractors
Support the Director of Financial Systems for ongoing initiatives as required
To succeed in this role, you have:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience; CPA designation is an asset but not required
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CSM and/or equivalent certifications
Consulting or professional services experience
Experience applying agile and traditional Project Management methods and tools
5+ years of related work experience managing large-scale, IT-enabled projects focused on business, process and platform change
Experience in managing Finance specific programs and projects
Experience with top tier financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday)
Knowledge of emerging topics in technology, including AI concepts, RPA, big data, machine learning
Familiarity with Finance (Accounting) principles, processes and practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, developing and maintaining project schedules, and other Office suite of productivity tools (in particular, PowerPoint)
