We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Rockstar Project Manager to join our high-performing team. As a key player in our organization, you will lead and manage end-to-end supply chain projects, collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing cutting-edge technology to optimize our global logistics operations.

We are looking for someone to lead an innovative inbound supply chain & logistics project that will be a game changer in the industry. This role will be responsible for successfully delivering assigned projects end-to-end, as well as supporting larger Global Logistics initiatives. You will also conduct research, map processes, and analyze data to identify improvement/simplification opportunities within the supply chain business. Additionally, you will provide visibility to senior management and solve existing business problems or better achieve the goals for Global Logistics.

 

Key Responsibilities

Trailblazing Data Insights: Unleash the power of data! Analyze and validate data to uncover trends, risks, and hidden insights that will revolutionize our logistics decision-making process. Develop intuitive dashboards and reporting projects that provide actionable insights to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and drive innovation. Project Management Extraordinaire: Lead and manage Inbound Logistics projects, from conception to execution, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You'll design detailed project plans, coordinate resources, and monitor project variables to implement corrective actions and deliver value by driving lasting results. Process Innovation Guru: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, measure, and improve business processes across our global logistics operations. You'll document requirements, facilitate process workflow modeling, and drive process improvements and automation initiatives that streamline our end-to-end value chain. Financial Savvy: Keep a tight rein on project costs and financials. Control allocated project costs, support business case creation, and ensure compliance with global standards. You'll track and report on budget accruals, manage invoicing, and contribute to the overall financial success of our projects. Communication Maestro: Effective communication is key! Use your exceptional communication skills to engage, collaborate, and update senior management, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. You'll ensure smooth project delivery and seamless integration within our organization.

 

What You’ll Bring

Global project management experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in a multinational organization, with a track record of success in delivering complex initiatives in the field of logistics/supply chain/transportation management. Tech-savviness: You’re a PowerPoint Ninja and can make crisp slides in your sleep. You're proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and have experience with Robotic Process Automation. Business Process Mapping using tools like Microsoft Visio, Miro, and Signavio is second nature to you. Business mindset: You possess excellent numerical and analytical skills, allowing you to identify opportunities for improvement and drive data-informed decision-making. Logistics expertise: You have a solid understanding of logistics EDI setup and system implementation, enabling you to navigate the intricacies of our supply chain operations. Change agent: You embrace innovation, challenge the status quo, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your ability to drive change and inspire others is unparalleled. Excellent communication skills: Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, and you excel at facilitating discussions and building relationships across all levels of the organization. Language proficiency: You're fluent in English, both verbal and written. Education Requirement: Four-year college or university degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management, or related areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA/Project Management (PMP)/SAFE Agile certification: This is a HUGE plus, demonstrating your commitment to professional growth and excellence.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

Four-year college or university degree with a focus on Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in mid-scale projects with hands-on project management experience as a lead or PMO. Master's in Business Administration OR PMP certification.
