Job Description

As a Project Manager, ETO, Power Control Business, you will lead and direct customer-facing Engineer to Order projects in the Power Control Business organization. Scope of supply may contain products from the Medium Voltage Business (MVB) and Low Voltage Motor Control Center (LVMCC) business along with 3rd party products and services. You will work, in hybrid working mode, with large teams including Commercial Engineering, Application Engineering, Finance, Quality, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) and distribution, to deliver a positive experience to our customers. You will lead a project team by influence being accountable for the project and acting as the primary contact for EMEA customers. You will contribute to ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction while exceeding internal metrics such as earnings, on-time deliveries, and project quality.

In this role you will report into the Project Management Lead in EMEA.

Your Responsibilities:Available for all project pressing matters that require their presenceWillingness to work non-standard hours when handling global projectsTravel to manufacturing and customer sitesComplete engagement with all project partners including Customers, Engineers, Production, 3rd party vendors, and ManagementAccept overall quality, financial and schedule responsibility of assigned projects.Resolve financial, business, technical and schedule issues and can understand the severity of the situation and proactively escalate when requiredLead continuous improvementRecognized resource for the Leadership Team

The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's DegreeEnglish proficient (written and conversation)Excellent communicator and presenter who scales to the level of detail required based on the audienceTravel up to 20%

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Master's degree in engineering disciplineIf located in Europe, German intermediate (written and conversation)Proficiency with Project Management responsibilities such as customer interface, project budget maintenance, project schedule maintenance, contract management and project resources planning, while mitigating risks, focusing on solutions.International and multi-office project management experience of multiple moderate to large-scale projects within margin targets and customer satisfaction.3+ years of experience indirectly managing engineering, manufacturing, logistic and procurement teams using collaboration tools and remote management skill5+ years experience in project management with ETO experience in power, control, drives or industrial automationExperience in team management in a matrix environmentExperience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) productsProject Management Professional (PMP) or willingness to become certifiedBackground of using Lean Six Sigma methodologiesProficiency in other languages is a strong asset
