About the Role We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Growth Marketing Operations (GROMO) team, responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives, optimizing execution workflows, and ensuring cross-functional alignment across teams. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can balance multiple projects, manage timelines and resources effectively, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. The Growth Marketing Operations Project Manager will work closely with Growth, Martech, Creative, Data Science and Client Success teams to lead projects from planning to execution. This includes coordinating marketing campaigns, managing timelines, ensuring smooth collaboration between teams, and maintaining visibility into project progress. The ideal candidate has experience in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies and a strong understanding of marketing campaign execution. What You'll Accomplish Project Management & Execution Oversee multiple growth marketing initiatives, ensuring projects stay on track, within scope, and aligned with business priorities. Own project planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring clear timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across teams. Track and manage project risks, issues, and roadblocks, proactively finding solutions to keep initiatives moving forward. Coordinate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, execution plans, and key milestones. Process Optimization & Workflow Efficiency: Identify bottlenecks in marketing execution workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. Develop best practices and standardized workflows to enhance project execution across Growth Marketing Operations. Partner with Martech and Data Science teams to optimize project tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting structures. Ensure documentation of project workflows, key learnings, and retrospective findings to continuously improve execution. Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Growth Marketing Operations initiatives, liaising across Growth and cross-functionally with Client Success, Martech, Creative, Data Science and other key stakeholders. Facilitate project meetings, setting clear objectives, tracking action items, and ensuring accountability across teams. Translate marketing goals and technical requirements into clear, actionable project plans for cross-functional teams. Drive alignment on timelines, expectations, and dependencies, reducing friction and improving execution speed. Own formal communication around operational updates, including internal newsletters or status reports, ensuring teams stay informed on key initiatives, process changes, and workflow improvements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in marketing operations, growth marketing, or a related field 4+ years of project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, risk assessment, and change management 4+ years of experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies in a marketing or tech environment Proficiency in at least one project management tool such as Asana, Jira, Trello, or Smartsheet Preferred Qualifications PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile certifications preferred Experience in marketing campaign execution, marketing automation, or growth experimentation Familiarity with marketing tech stacks and platforms such as Iterable, Braze, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience in budget tracking and financial forecasting for marketing initiatives Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
