Zebra is looking for a Project Manager, II to join our growing Project Management Supply Chain team!  You will be empowered and inspired to contribute to our mission by managing a portfolio of projects and developing and maintaining detailed project plans at our Kenosha Distribution Center.  You will manage project planning, launch, control, and delivery against timeline and budget metrics for assignments within the supply chain distribution center. Gain exposure to a wide range of projects dealing with warehouse automation (e.g., robotics, RFID and AI), fulfillment business strategy, supply chain technology and business process improvements. This is an on-site position in Kenosha, WI- Kenosha Fulfillment Center


Responsibilities:
Interacts with distribution center and cross-functional leaders to update and maintain a portfolio/pipeline of projects from idea through execution.Effectively manages projects of moderate scope leading the project team to execute against timeline and budget metrics.Creates a clear project Charter/Scope statement and takes the lead on building a supporting detailed project plan which effectively factors in resource availability, task durations and dependencies, budgets and costs. Includes simple Risk Management plans.Checks progress regularly against the plan and makes adjustments to optimize execution. Documents progress against the project plan throughout the project.Formulates status reports and presents to the team and immediate manager. Status reports are expected to be concise summaries, tailored to the audienceActs independently to address minor issues and risks, and works these until resolved. On major issues/risks with resources and/or budget, provides recommendations for mitigation plan for review by management. Adjusts the plan per management guidelines as delays or obstacles are experiencedMay lead multiple limited-scope/small derivative projects simultaneouslyDemonstrates knowledge of PMI PMBOK and basic Project Management techniques and approaches including familiarity with vocabulary. Able to effectively use project management tools in basic applications including simple scheduling and staffing plansAssists with the preparation of project business cases when requiredInterfaces with Zebra Information Technology on development and integration of system and infrastructure projectsSupports organizational change management and communication activities for planned and in-flight projects
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required2+ years of related field experienceProject management experienceKnowledge/experience with Smart Sheet project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management certifications or related certifications ideal or in progress.Supply Chain background/experience Intermediate communication and facilitation skillsIntermediate presentation skills. Demonstrated comfort in presenting to peer level or one level up cross functional audiences.Demonstrated working knowledge of fundamentals with project management approaches, tools and methodologies.Intermediate skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and MS ProjectIntermediate skills in delegation and follow upDemonstrated working knowledge/experience of technical business unit assigned to (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)Basic knowledge of lean six sigma and other process improvement methodologiesBasic knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies

Salary: USD 67000.00 - USD 100600.00 Yearly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
