We are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, executing, and delivering development projects on time, within budget and in alignment with specifications. This role involves defining project requirements and scope, acquiring necessary resources, and leading project teams to success. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient delivery of project milestones, maintaining high-quality standards, and facilitating clear communication with stakeholders. In addition, Project Manager will provide reports to management throughout each project’s lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Manage medium to large sized projects, as assigned, within scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Maintain focus on project outcomes and business realization.
• Ensure stakeholder communications are adequate and timely.
• Cooperate with IT Leads and Managers to maintain satisfactory standards and resourcing.
• Develop, track and monitor project business cases, timelines, resources, milestones and deliverables using the appropriate tools.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within and between various project teams.
• Effectively manage project teams’ time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
• Where required, negotiate with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendation report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6-10 years of proven experience in IT project management, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Professional certification in project management is required; PMP designation is preferred.
• Follow project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, SmartSheet).
• Knowledge of infrastructure and business applications support and development.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of business systems (e.g. JDE, Kronos, Oracle HCM, O365, Incorta).
• Knowledge of the SDLC and custom application development.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
