Project Manager, Life Sciences - Indianapolis Health (Remote)

Overview

Milliman's Indianapolis Health Practice is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager, Life Sciences to support our growing practice. This role will focus on managing complex client engagements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and Milliman standards Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed Prepare detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting agendas, and post-project evaluations Foster collaboration and ensure effective coordination across departments to achieve project objectives Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in project delivery

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working with diverse teams and fostering an inclusive environment is a plus

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in a consulting, financial, or technical environment

Preferred

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent

The Team

The pharmaceutical consulting team is a group of 40+ individuals in the Indianapolis Health practice from varying backgrounds including actuaries, data analysts, pharmacists, and graphic designers. This group works primarily with pharmaceutical manufacturers by combining healthcare and payer knowledge, available data, analytic rigor, and industry experience to produce strategic and tactical insights for their clients.

Location

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Indianapolis, IN but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $87,000 - $177,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
