About the role As a key partner in the marketing and creative team, the Project Manager for Marketing and Creative Services will ensure that development, timelines, and deadlines are consistently met. They will proactively communicate with all stakeholders in the marketing and creative process, providing detailed reports on projects and workloads. Additionally, they will assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and serve as the primary contact for Command Direct and all printed materials. This individual will help execute brand initiatives and marketing efforts with precision, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals. Responsibilities Oversee the project lifecycle management of marketing and creative projects from initiation to completion. Ensuring that development, timelines, and deadlines are consistently met. Collaborate with designers and other creatives to translate project requirements into actionable plans. Assist with execution of brand initiatives and marketing efforts with precision, ensuring alignment with broader marketing are met. Proactively communicate with all stakeholders in the marketing and creative process. Develop and maintain detailed reports on projects and workloads, schedules and budgets, with input from various support functions and leadership. Prepare regular updates to the marketing and creative team and leadership to ensure alignment on open, closed or completed actions. Recognize and resolve issues that arise during project fulfillment. Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions. Be an active leader and facilitator of core team meetings and conference calls as required based on projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for Command Direct and all printed materials, between clients, creative teams, and other key stakeholders. Encourage an atmosphere of team participation and accountability. Qualifications Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills. Must be a clear communicator, able to gather, organize and present information verbally and in writing to individuals and groups of people. Able to establish and maintain strong working relationships cross functionally. Must be resourceful in reaching deadlines and quickly identify and communicate obstacles. Must be flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and solution-oriented with a positive attitude toward teamwork. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and keep the team on track, including individuals in other departments. Ability to effectively generate and execute presentations to senior level management and respond to questions from groups and individuals. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Marketing, Creative or Visual Communications. Understanding of marketing and creative workflows. 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in brand marketing, creative, or agency environments. Excellent understanding of segmentation, vertical markets, and the development of a marketing communication plan. Experience with project management tools (Wrike, Basecamp, Trello, Monday.com) and best practices. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
