As Stream Lead Pricing Excellence, you will become part of the Pricing Excellence initiative within Next Level. The objective of the Pricing Excellence initiative is to mature BC’s pricing processes and systems in order to grow our business profitably, both on margin and volume, and to install a simplified solution that creates transparency to sales and senior management (up to CEO level).
The Pricing Excellence initiative, consists of 3 phases
Solution design: conducting a maturity assessment of the current organization, processes and tools, as a basis to define the high-level dream state, and the creation of the initiative roadmap with business case
Detailed solution design and implementation plan: develop the 360° Target Operating Model (principles, process target state, tools, incentive models & organization), conduct a detailed in-depth as-is analysis, and translate it into a detailed implementation plan
Implementation: design of detailed E2E process, global roll-out of the target operating model, and implement the E2E process & tooling
The program is divided into multiple streams (strategy, price models, tools & governance). In this role, you will be the end responsible of a designated stream. The goal is to ensure the in time, global delivery of the project in line with the monetization of the overall business case. A stream typically includes three steps: Concept design, Pilot & Implementation Phase.
Your main stakeholder will be the pricing counterpart on the business side. Depending on the stream, other stakeholders may be Finance, Information Management, Sales, or other. Next to the internal stakeholders, it can be the case that you will also work closely together with an external supplier.
Key Responsibilities include
Project management
Drive and lead planning, coordination and implementation of the project to ensure delivery on time, in full and within budget, reaching the project goals across BC globally.
Manage and lead team of participants to ensure that project objectives are met
Set-up of governance structure & meetings
Develop and maintain project plans, and monitor timeline progress
Oversee resource management & performance (both internal and external)
Management of budget resources
Follow-up of interdependencies with other projects and initiatives
Conduct risk analysis and manage identified risks
Content gatekeeper
Establishment of project charter and subflows
Ensure a qualitative delivery of the concept phase
Coordinate and assess the pilot phase
Creation and follow-up of global implementation plan
Ensure content alignment on a global and functional level
Structuring content for project meetings and overarching program alignments during the whole project
Act as an Ambassador of the stream
Actively promote and ensure a positive energy around the stream
Engage and coordinate Stakeholders
About you
Minimum 5 years of business experience
At least 5 years of experience in pricing ideally in a B2B environment and in project management in a multinational and/or global environment
Proven track record for managing complexity in a project environment and keeping team energy high for maximum impact
Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel) and Google tools.
Knowledge of specific pricing tools is considered a plus
Able to drive change and motivate people, strong listening and influencing skills
Able to challenge the status quo, curious to understand different points of view. Constantly looking for opportunities to improve.
