Responsibilities Developing and documenting the scopes of work (SOW). Managing change of that design SOW based on client inputs and business driven changesDefine and align resource needs to meet the requirement of the projects within the Carollo organization, this could include outsourcing for specific design support needs depending on timing of the projectBe a leader in coordination and collaboration of the design with client and construction teams depending on the type of project delivery (Design Build, IPD, etc.)Support the development of the design team. Look for training opportunities and methods to grow the design teamUnderstand and help define the project deliverables for the various phases of the project. From feasibility, positioning, programming, detail design and services during constructionDevelop, coordinate and maintain relationships with the client and their design professionalsTrack design productivity and adherence to design budgets and design package planning to support construction sequencing. Must understand construction to drive design package release to efficiently utilize and understand design resource needsUnderstand and provide appropriate design support for permitting the work in the local jurisdiction Qualifications Broad experience in the Design and Construction industry with an understanding of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructurePrior experience working in a multi-discipline design team supporting semiconductor or similar industryExperience in tracking design productivity and quality control of design document productionExperience with alternative project delivery methods for design and constructionExcellent communications and technical writing skillsEstablished relationships with project owners and ability to provide a high level of client service in order to private sector projectsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management requiredExperience with collaborative project delivery methods for design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructureApproximately 10 years of experience with a proven record of accomplishment in the planning, design, procurement, and construction execution of water-related projects Preferred Qualifications Registration as a PE, PMP, or CMAA is desired Pay Range

$135,000 to $250,000 (if position is filled in the Denver locations) annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
