See a full list of projects here. CRC positions are ideal for individuals seeking research and clinical training before beginning advanced degrees in clinical psychology, medicine, or related fields. We aim to create a training environment that includes both elements typically experienced by junior graduate students and those of standard research assistant roles, preparing CRCs for the next stage of their careers. The CRC 2 will ensure that studies are conducted according to protocol design and will report deviations as they arise, and maintain study files such as regulatory documents, correspondence, case report forms and data files. They will perform activities related to regulatory compliance such as IRB submissions, mandates issued by the study sponsor, and any other regulatory entity.
CRCs benefit from regular one-on-one meetings with our Principal Investigators to guide their professional development, including support with the graduate school application process. Exceptional CRCs have the opportunity to engage in unique training experiences such as creating posters for professional conferences and contributing to peer-reviewed publications. During their time with us, numerous CRCs have authored first-author papers. Many of our former CRCs have chosen to pursue research-oriented doctoral. Those who opt for research-oriented paths often maintain collaborations with us, contributing to both first-author and co-author papers even after leaving our lab.
