Project Manager, Supply Chain

Job Description:

Salad and Go is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex projects related to the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operation. This individual will work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure successful project completion while adhering to timeline, scope, and budget. This position will report directly to the Director of CK Operations.  

 

As the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will: 

Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring project feasibility. 

Propose, select equipment, initiate vendor discussions. 

Define, plan and coordinate work teams, including coordinating the activities of a cross- functional team by leading through influence to ensure project timelines are met from project conception through startup and commissioning. Ensure resource availability and allocation. 

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. 

Manages timelines and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks and communicates critical project achievements and/or risks. 

Schedules and facilitates necessary meetings to coordinate and manage projects, and other related business requirements. 

Manages projects through to completion ensuring project is on-time and on-budget. 

Acts as a primary point of contact for projects, facilitating project update, coordinating meetings and written updates, reporting progress to stakeholders. 

Drives process improvement and adherence to company project standards for assigned tasks. 

Manage and update any tracking or reporting tools to monitor accuracy and on-time execution of deliverables for each project. 

Work with outside contractors to complete CK projects. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

5-7 years' experience in Project Management in a fresh food manufacturing environment. 

PMP, APICS or PMI certification preferred. 

Proficient in Asana and AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams. 

Ability to work with a high level of autonomy – a self-starter with a bias for action. 

Ability to manage dynamic and competing priorities / projects, with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities. 

Comfortable with ambiguity; strong business judgement. 

Prior experience at a high growth start-up. 

Results oriented in a fast-paced environment. 

Compassion for others and a desire to make healthy food options accessible to the world!
