Project Manager – Store Signage - West Elm

This role is responsible for planning and tracking production and resource oversight for projects within the Creative department with a focus on Store Signage and Marketing. This role serves as a central point between the Creative team and other departments within the organization to ensure that projects are completed successfully. The role supports the execution of visual strategies across the brand by creating visual tools and resources that allow home office + stores to plan and execute flawlessly to drive sales. This role reports to the Director of Visual Merchandising.

 

Responsibilities

Oversees signage and marketing presentation in the retail stores and ensure they maximize business growth. Works with procurement teams to ensure props and supplies are maintained and ordered 

Manage and prioritize multiple projects from kick-off to completion, including the creation of project schedules, tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met.  Source and manage relationships with production vendors. Manage project billing, as well as budget creation and reconciliation when needed Attends briefings and design presentations with stakeholders, performing as an information source. Assist in budget tracking and management monthly to include invoice payment and balance sheets for the department.  Manages workflows while following up on all signage requests.  Manages various other projects including: New Store Opening Graphics, shopping bags, gift wrap, gift cards, gift card enclosures etc.  Maintain seasonal signage assets including ordering, seasonal guides and reprints to include Outlet and Main Brand.  Maintain store ordering websites for various vendors.  Maintains a print project status report to include print, copy, packaging and signage.  Prototype, budget and source all props for stores – work with purchasing to get accomplished.  Archive purchasing details for all prop purchases for future use. Manage prop replacements for all doors Work with purchasing team to get all New Store Openings the proper visual supplies

Qualifications: 

2-3 years visual merchandising or retail equivalent project management  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Knowledge of Excel, Illustrator, InDesign, Airtable and Workfront

The expected starting pay range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
