The Project Manager will partner with the Talent & Development team on the configuration, implementation, and change management for implementing a new performance management system across Macmillan Publishers. The Project Manager will collaborate with the T&D team, the selected vendor, the HRIS team, and the IT department to ensure the successful deployment and adoption of the system. This is a contract role with expected duration of approximately 6 to 8 months.
SCOPE OF WORK
Planning and Strategy:
Develop a detailed project plan, including milestones, timelines, and resources required. Establish clear objectives and success metrics for system implementation.Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact between Macmillan’s teams (T&D, HRIS, IT) and the system vendor, Lattice. Facilitate regular update meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.System Configuration and Testing:
Guide the customization of the performance management system to meet Macmillan's needs. Lead the testing phase for each module to identify and resolve system issues before full-scale deployment.Training and Support:
Create and deliver training sessions to prepare Macmillan employees for the new system. Provide ongoing support to users during the initial post-implementation phase.Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor the system’s performance and user feedback to ensure objectives are being met. Prepare and submit progress reports to Macmillan leadership.QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in project management, preferably with implementing enterprise wide Performance Management, HRIS or LMS systems. Experience with implementing Lattice preferred. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Expertise in change management strategies and training material development.This role will have an hourly salary of up to $50/hour, depending on experience.
This is a contractor role and the finalist will be hired through a third party vendor, Headway.
