Project Manager – Construction (Rail)

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with an international solutions and infrastructure advisor. The company is a leading specialist in planning and designing construction projects.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager hybrid role, based in Southern California.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Manage and develop project budgets, fees and schedulesManage and responsible for health and safety on siteEvaluates and leads design for rail, transit or civil engineering projects, including safety improvements, 3D modelling and grade crossingManage client relations with a solution-based mindsetDevelop, monitor and track weekly reportsEffective in team leadership, including mentoring junior designers

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringMaster’s degree in transportation or a closely related discipline (preferred)10+ years of transport management experience or engineering consultingProfessional Engineer (PE) license in CAExperience leading small and large-scale rail and transit projectsExperience in rail safetyAbility to use Microstation, Inrail, Civil30, AutoCAD and open railExcellent communication skillsWillingness to travel
