At Lilly in Germany, we are currently planning and building a high-tech production facility in Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate), which will expand our production of injectable drugs from 2027 and employ up to 1,000 specialists. Project Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics (m/w/d)
What tasks await you?
As the Supply Chain and Logistics Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the start-up of supply chain and logistics function during the completion of plant construction, transitioning to new product launches, and driving special supply chain and logistics improvement projects over time. Your project management expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting high standards and delivering exceptional results.
You support and execute operational readiness activities for supply chain and logistics as assigned.You deliver necessary information and data about new and ongoing projects.You execute change controls related to supply chain or logistics.You facilitate problem-solving, shared learning, and decision-making across functions.You partner with and lead cross-functional teams to deliver project results.You establish and implement project management processes and methodologies within the function to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet team expectations.You escalate technical and timeline issues appropriately.You provide facilitation of meeting logistics, including scheduling, agendas, and minutes.You coordinate communication with the project team impacted or supporting the project scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.You identify issues that may delay project deliverables and recommend risk mitigation strategies, contingencies, and actions when appropriate.You will work closely with internal departments and/or outside vendors to ensure project completion.How do you convince us?
You have a Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field (preferable).You bring a minimum of 4years of experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.You have project management expertise, with PMP certification preferred.You have substantial knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics business.You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse interpersonal styles and develop credibility cross-functionally.You can influence others positively, negotiate effectively, and manage conflicts efficiently.You have the ability to lead and deliver in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment.You demonstrate strong strategic and logical thinking skills.You possess strong conceptual skills.You have good German and English skills.You are willing to work at the Alzey siteWhat can you look forward to with us?
