 A Day in the Life:
 

Day-to-day management on delivery of sponsorship and XM campaigns with direction from the Manager and Director, ranging from advance planning and coordination of events/experiences to in-person feet-on-the-ground execution. Own and/or support development of exciting and innovative proposals on solutions for existing and new clients including hosting brainstorming sessions, strategy, quoting of solutions. On-site work at our activations and programs including support with managing set-up & tear-down of events, managing support staff (such as Brand Ambassadors) onsite. Project managing programs from creating project plans, critical paths, managing timelines and supporting team members (such as Project Coordinators) to keep team on track through to execution. Work closely with cross-functional teams ranging from creative to digital solutions ensuring all timelines are being met, including reviewing program assets. Closely manage the financials of your projects, including overall budget management of large-scale sponsorship and XM campaign/projects, pulling financial reports, managing vendor invoices, managing client invoices, vendor negotiations, support with contract review & negotiations Build and maintain a great relationship with our clients, providing regular status updates, and constantly communicating with them. Evaluate sponsorships and prepare presentations with an overview and POV on the proposal for various clients, based on business challenges or goals. Take ownership and responsibility for all elements within the project lifecycle, including creating post-event reports for clients on results of projects/campaigns. Be a strategic partner by constantly looking for ways to innovate and enhance the projects. Support management of Bond and client-owned assets, including inventory, condition, and repairs. Support with integrating influencers, local media outlets, videographers, photographers into programs/campaigns Be willing and flexible to work outside regular operating hours (including evenings, weekends and holidays) and travel (primarily local within the GTA) as required. The successful candidate must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client on-site events and meetings.

 

Are You The One? 

 

A post-secondary degree or diploma in Sports and/or Event Marketing is ideal – but not required. 3-5 years of professional experience managing a variety of projects and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Knowledgeable about sports & a sports enthusiast is considered an asset. Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining highly resourceful, accountable, and proactive. Be willing and flexible to work outside regular operating hours (including evenings, weekends and holidays) and travel (primarily local within the GTA) as required. The successful candidate must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client on-site events and meetings. Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), presentation, and organizational skills. Exceptional listening, analytical, attention to detail, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bilingual in English and French (not required but an asset).
