The Impact - Roles and Responsibilities
Successful implementation of remediated Operating Systems and Data basesFinancial Management of project financialsKey Milestone tracking and problem resolutionIncumbents work with engineers, architects, and enterprise stakeholders to help deliver innovative, data-driven projects aimed at transforming MassMutual. As part of a Data and Developer PMO team, incumbents may be responsible for any of the following:Lead broad scope Programs / Projects that have medium to long-term focusEngage with all levels across the enterpriseServe as a conduit of knowledge between functional and technical teamsCommunicate regularly with individuals both within and outside of our team, managing relationships and expectationsNavigate ambiguity to deliver resultsDevelop plans for continuous service to support implementation of productsAct as a champion for data engineering capabilities by communicating their benefits and how they can be implementedProvide consultation, business analysis, project management, and leadership on multiple projects of varying duration, size, and complexityMotivate teams to work together, communicate, and deliverElicit, translate and simplify requirementsDocument and organize acceptance criteria for user storiesManage budget, timeline, and scope throughout the course of all assigned projectsLead project teams during all phases of the development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, build, pilot, implementation and continuous serviceFacilitate client and project team interactions including: agile ceremonies, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, incident management and release managementWork with project managers to define improvements to business processes, assist decision-makers in gathering information to make decisions, and help quality assurance test solutionsWork with technical leads, delivery leads to plan, develop technical scopes of work and manage the execution of projects/product changes in response to requirements from our stakeholdersBe self-supportive in collaborating with peers to effectively deliver a robust solution for the businessDrive process within a global matrix management settingThe Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and expertise8+ years of experience with project and program management skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications and presentations1+ years of experience with current project planning, reporting and support tools (e.g. project management software)Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship both now and in the futureThe Ideal Qualifications
1+ years of experience with proven ability to drive and/or develop business case, understand it thoroughly and continually monitor projects/programs against it to ensure benefit realization1+ years of experience with proven ability to effectively bring a diverse team together to meet project objectivesDemonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner with resiliency around ever changing environmentsExperience in Technical Currency Remediation is a plusWhat to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the Team
