Job Summary Project Manager is responsible for ensuring project work meets all commitments to the client consistent with the company’s plan. Maintains lead communicator position with client, manages client expectations, advises the senior management on project status, and provides leadership, definition and direction to the project team. Ensures that project is properly staffed with qualified technical and administrative personnel so that project schedules and budget are met. Main Responsibilities + Responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to meet the project goals and objectives. + Maintains ongoing training and mentoring of project team and is directly responsible to senior management + Provides ongoing project information and project reviews as required by management. + Establishes project procedures consistent with contractual documents and the company’s plan for all engineering work. Qualifications - Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent / Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record / Bachelor of Science degree (B. S.), or Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Project Management or Engineering in any discipline from a four-year college or university; and 5+ years’ related experience and/or training, specifically in road construction project management.
