Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of various projects and programs. This role involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring project progress. The Project Manager prepares reports for upper management on the project's status, relying on a combination of experience and judgment to accomplish goals. Creativity and latitude are expected as the role involves leading and directing the work of others.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of projects to ensure successful completion.Set project deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members.Monitor and summarize project progress and prepare reports for upper management.Communicate effectively with third-party vendors to ensure proper installation and focus on automation and MHE equipment.Work collaboratively with other teams in operational warehouses.Hold vendors accountable and identify gaps in standards.Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in project management and engineering.Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Proficiency in project management and vendor management.Ability to work collaboratively in operational warehouse environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with automation and material handling equipment (MHE).Experience in testing and ensuring proper equipment installation.Ability to earn trust and insist on the highest standards.Quick learner with the ability to identify gaps in standards.Work Environment
This role requires 100% travel to work site locations, working with a regional team to complete multiple automation installation projects. The work environment involves heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and communication.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
