Responsibilites:
• Is involved in formulating the overall project launch assignment and having the assignment and plan approved by management, in consultation with the relevant functions and other stakeholders/parties involved, on base of requirements and business case.
• Ensures Requirements and business case are defined, completed and approved
• Builds and maintains the project team, chooses the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external company.
• Defines the risks of the project (i.e. specs, costs, planning, etc.) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks.
• Directs employees and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally (where necessary, directs sub-Project Leaders).
• Is responsible for implementation and realization according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, investment, cost) and organization.
• Organizes (with PMO) hard consolidations (= MC review) according to PCP process and procedures, and drives decisions on LE LT level.
• Is responsible for quality initiatives to ensure quality deliverables of all functions in the project team (Like R&D, ProM, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Deploys process improvements and makes the project team efficient and transparent, in line with Category, departmental and project processes
• Engages in new process developments where deviations or extensions from Standardized frameworks are required.
• Represents the project team in the business and provides business management with regular project performance status updates, variances to plan and identification of corrective actions (e.g. via monthly review)
• Manages internal and external stakeholders
• Ensures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge.
Requirements:
• Experience in leading projects in a multi-site multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience in analyzing the stakeholder environment and needs to achieve common objectives, considering contradicting interests and making the best decisions for the project as well as the business.
• You have good command of English and strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in balancing risks and opportunities of innovative solutions.
• Creative, flexible, analytically strong and also hands-on.
• A strong leader and a team player. You are an excellent communicator and motivator, skilled in managing interpersonal processes.
• Affinity with technology. Must be able to appreciate technical features/details and distill this into consumer facing messaging

• Ability to work under stress and ambiguity
