**Position Overview**
**Power your future with Qualus** as a Project Manager on our Engineering team. The Project Manager at Qualus is responsible for leading and managing engineering, engineer-procure (EP), and engineer-procure-construct (EPC) projects with a focus on high-voltage electrical substations. Our Project Managers play an important role in the growth are responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, control and close-out of major electric transmission, distribution and substation projects. The successful candidate must possess the ability to successfully navigate through and resolve complex and oftentimes multi-functional challenges associated with multiple complex projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the engineering components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with internal and external standards and processes.
+ Oversee and track project scope, budget, cost, scheduling, and change control from initiation to close-out.
+ Identify project risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
+ Foster and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal team members.
+ Serve as a key decision-maker on engineering project matters, accountable for project outcomes.
+ Contribute to internal process improvements and support the development of project control standards and tools within Qualus.
+ Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, coordinating closely with internal teams and clients to manage impacts and updates.
+ Prepare and present regular project status reports; effectively communicate project progress to stakeholders including clients, agencies, and internal teams.
+ Facilitate regular project meetings (bi-weekly or monthly), document meeting outcomes, and follow through on action items.
+ Demonstrate strong communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure project success.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in electric utility substation projects is preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, utility interconnection requirements, renewable energy, and large-load industrial infrastructure is preferred.
+ Ability to demonstrate excellent experience in project controls, including scope, schedule, and cost management.
+ Skilled in problem analysis, solution development, and implementing actions to meet project objectives.
+ Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
+ Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, including status updates and reporting.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); scheduling experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
+ Ability to consistently deliver results, demonstrates high work standards, and understands business processes.

The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited toeducation, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.
