Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Service Implementation team in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to work on public and academic software projects. Our team is responsible for delivering services across APAC to help customers with product adaptation and value realization.  

We have a strong skill set in project management and would love to speak with you if you have experience in project delivery, including planning, execution, and closure.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

You should have B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent qualification or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of relevant experience in project management Effectively applies Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc. End to end project delivery of software projects and services Cross-functional teams’ coordination to ensure the project are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meeting the quality standards Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills  Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines   Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to deliver training  Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes  

It would be great if you are . . .  

Background in library workflows/standards strongly preferred Project manager with experience in SAAS implementation in higher education industry. Background in library workflows/standards strongly preferred Experience with Ex Libris/Innovative products would be advantage Serves as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications Experience in Public and Academic software industry Experience working with government institutions in SingaporePMP / PRINCE2 certified 

What will you be doing in this role? 

Implementing software products and services across APACParticipate and contributes to process improvement, global initiative, and work standardization across APACAct as overall primary point of contact for the customer project teamCreates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirementsManages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scopeManages project risk through mitigation planningFacilitates team and customer meetingsHolds regular status meetings with project teamKeeps executive team and stakeholders informed of project progressEffectively applies Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.Perform software product configuration, based on customer’s requirementsAnalyze and troubleshoot customer issues and requests, provide first line support to customers during implementation cycleInterpret and understand customer requirements and workflows and translate into software solutionsProvide product training to customers, via Web-based or on-site trainingReview and contribute to training materials, implementation tools and documents used internally and by customersCoordinate extensively with other teams including Cloud Services, Installation, Support, Sales, and Product Management

Hours of Work
