Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Dania Beach, FL. Summary The role of the Project Manager is to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of a project to keep it on schedule. They are also responsible for managing multiple projects of varying size and scope as required by organization, and in accordance with all strategic initiatives and objectives to fulfill the mission and vision. This person will have the overall responsibility for assigning individual tasks/responsibilities related to a project, identify appropriate resources needed, develop project timelines, budget, interdepartmental communication, ensure stakeholders are aware of project status and any issues or risks. Additionally, this person will facilitate all project assessment and prioritization, help ensure optimum alignment with business objectives and maximum return on investment and supervising project coordinators. The Project Manager takes projects from original concept through final implementation - interfacing with all areas affected by the project including but not limited to end users, stakeholders and vendors and ensures adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities: * Follow project methodology from initiation to delivery, adhering to PMP Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies as well as organization's IT PMO guidelines * Facilitate IT project governance and analysis * Create and maintain comprehensive long and short-term project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, statuses, resource allocation and adhering to deadlines
