Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Arnage site. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the project, from order transmission to completion and delivery. The successful candidate then passes on to the after-sales service department. Project success is measured by safety during execution, customer satisfaction, meeting contractual requirements and site profitability.

Responsibilities:

Assumes full responsibility for the financial performance of the project and reports information to management.

Acts as the single point of contact with customers for strategic Flowserve contracts under his/her responsibility.

Builds strong customer relationships and maintains those relationships in the face of adversity.Uses industry best practices and Flowserve processes to ensure project finance, documentation, risk management and schedule management meet key KPIs.

Identifies potential project risks, evaluates and initiates corrective actions.

Executes the project safely, efficiently and on time in accordance with the contract and specifications agreed with the customer.

Develops and leads the project team, ensuring that adequate resources and skills are assigned to the project according to the necessary profile.

Possesses a solid understanding of contractual positions, requirements and technical specifications, and looks for opportunities to reduce costs.

Identifies and manages changes to project scope of supply and negotiates customer-induced changes in accordance with Flowserve processes and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

Higher education (Bac +5) in industrial engineering or, if possible, mechanical engineering, with PMI certification (or equivalent).

You have at least 5 years' significant experience in project management interfacing with key accounts in the nuclear market.

You have a sound knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and electro-mechanics, and have evolved in the demanding environment of nuclear contracts.

You are familiar with the execution of nuclear projects.

You are proficient in MS Office, including Microsoft Project, document control and risk management software.

Strong leadership and organizational skills are a must.

Excellent interpersonal, writing and oral presentation skills in English and French are essential.

Your presentation and communication skills to ensure effective coordination with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders are recognized.

You have the ability to work independently to design and implement business processes.
