Typical Pay Range: $120,000 to $170,000 per year
Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the execution of facilities operations, building maintenance, repair, and minor alterations and construction services at the Forrestal and Germantown campuses, the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Headquarters. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of these facilities, which serve thousands of DOE personnel and support the daily operations of the department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
The Project Manager will ensure that all operations, maintenance, and repair services are conducted efficiently, adhering to DOE standards. This includes quick, decisive action in emergency situations, such as water line breaks, power outages, or HVAC failures. The Project Manager will lead efforts to assess damage, identify affected areas, and coordinate with key personnel to minimize disruptions. All services and emergency responses will be logged in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking and reporting purposes.
The Project Manager will also interface with contractors, government entities, and stakeholders, acting as an advisor to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). This role involves ensuring seamless coordination between different contractual efforts and facility operations, maintaining compliance with DOE infrastructure standards.
