Position Summary
The Project Manager, Project Delivery is responsible for facilitating Plug Power’s Electrolyzer offering to customers developing large scale green hydrogen plants. As a Project Manager, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with planning, engineering, manufacturing management. The Project Manager develops and maintains projects schedules to ensure activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets. This position plays a key role in managing expectations and priorities to both internal and external customers The successful candidate will coordinate with multiple cross-functional departments to efficiently allocate resources, manage risks, develop attainable schedules, and clarify requirements as needed.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience
BS or MS degree in engineering: mechanical, electrical or other applicable field of studyA minimum of Seven (7) years working experience in large scale industrial project-based functions.The ideal candidate possesses a background in project management in the hydrogen, chemical industry, or oil & gas sector with full exposure to basic engineering/FEED, engineering, procurement, production, construction, installation, and commissioning.Strong working knowledge and experience interfacing with procurement, fabricators and construction personnel, and EPC managersProven track record in developing project budget, schedule, and risk matrix.Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders.Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.Must be driven and self-motivated with excellent follow-through.Computer and software skills: MS Office, MS Project, Primavera and other project control tools.Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred but not required.
